On the initial stage of the call “Grants for Students’ Innovative Projects” 60 short form project proposals were submitted to TSF. Project proposals were evaluated by the Panel of Experts in compliance with the announced criteria and finally 21 projects were selected for the second stage of evaluation.

Following the guidelines, after evaluation of 21 full form project proposals and auditing respective presentations of the applicants, the Panel approved 9 projects for funding.

Around half the rice-based products aimed at children, including baby rice, rice crackers and cereals, contain arsenic in quantities that will exceed EU limits due to come into force on 1 January 2016, according to researchers who are investigating the prevalence of the carcinogen in food.

The Education, Science and Technological Development TS Foundation and the Consulting and Intermediate Company “Retectum” Ltd (Finland) has concluded the Memorandum of Understanding on bilateral cooperation. Memorandum was signed in Tbilisi at the office of TS Foundation on 28 October, 2015.

“Retectum”, and especially its Director in International Relations Mr. Lasse Koivunen, has a wide expertise in high-tech production’s initiation and development through supporting higher/vocational education, innovative research and partnership between science and industry. In last two decades Finnish partner has implemented number of international projects in the countries with developing economy, including Georgia.

With a history that dates back to 2001, the annual European Nanoelectronics Forum (ENF) has forged a place in the agendas of everyone interested in this domain from businesses big and small, to policy makers to researchers.

Over the 2 days, under the theme Driving Digital Economy, participants will come together to learn about the latest innovations and industry trends, as well as to get updates on policy developments, European strategies and collaborative funding programmes. More than 70 projects to be exhibited, interactive information sessions on hot topics will be organised.

Every year since 2008, the Science/|Business Annual Summit brings together leaders from academia, industry and policy to debate how to best unleash Europe’s technological potential and stimulate innovation in Europe.

The international Healthcare Brokerage Event at MEDICA has a tradition of more than 15 years now. In the last years the brokerage event had always more than 220 participants from about 30 countries with more than 800 meetings.

The aim of the Healthcare Brokerage Event at MEDICA 2015 is to assist enterprises, universities and research institutions in finding partners in Europe for product development, manufacturing and licensing agreements, distribution partnerships, joint ventures or other types of partnership.
